The brief

123.ie is a leading Irish insurance company offering Car, Home, Travel and Health Insurance directly to Irish consumers for over 20 years and is part of a global insurance family through its parent companies – RSA Insurance Ireland and Intact Financial Corporation (IFC).

IFC is the largest General Insurer in Canada, with a 20% share of the market, and operates businesses in the US, Ireland, Europe and the UK. IFC has a $500bn CAD market opportunity and access to over $375bn CAD of Speciality Lines premium globally.  

123.ie needed an experienced and multi-disciplinary local marketing partner to optimise and expand their search, display and social campaigns.

What we did

Having previously managed extensive SEO & PPC campaigns for past insurance sector clients, Tinderpoint was able to draw on extensive industry experience to maximise coverage on both Google and Bing.

Our first step was to optimise and build upon the solid foundation already in place from 123.ie’s many years of running successful online campaigns. We brought campaigns in line with our proven methodology and structure, introduced new creative, enabled new features and betas and expanded the suite of tactics being used. The insurance space on PPC is ultra competitive and constantly challenging, no more so than during the Covid-19 pandemic, nevertheless we were able to achieve the following results recently:
